On the development side of things: Big changes are rumbling in the foundations. Words are getting written. Bugs are being squashed, though there are always more. All of these things are proceeding faster than I’d feared, but not as fast as I’d hoped.
I also got attacked by a bee.
Apologies for the relatively substanceless update – GDC was followed by jetlag and illness, which was followed by upheavals in my personal life. Here’s a quick character spotlight to make up for it.
Cromlech can be hired as your Navigator, and he is – as you may have noticed – a goatman. The goatmen tribes live in crude huts, building crude shrines to crude gods, but Cromlech seems different. Although a self-confessed shaman he is remarkably well-groomed, and admits distaste at the idea of human sacrifice. He swings a black cane topped by a goat-skull, and his air of precision and politeness is only marred by his occasional propensity to nibble on the furniture.
